calculate ovulation

how do you calculate ovulation? Recently i did follicular study,can we take the day on which the eggs got ruptured as ovulation day and can we undergo IUI on that day? please guide me doctor...

Simply subtract 14days from your average cycle length and this will give you the approximate cd you ovulate(when the egg is released from the ovary), and can find many examples of this on this site..
