Well miss little one is 3 months old now and she just started sleeping in her crib. I took out the bumper b/c someone told me its a risk for SIDS. Does anyone else use them?

Congrats.....you got her to her crib! That is wonderful. So no you aren't supposed to use bumpers. Like LIsa said there are the mesh ones. Now that being said....I still use them. Caden finds his hands and legs through those slats constantly and then is yelling for help. Yes I know the mesh ones but fix this too, but the is also always banging his head into the bars!! Yes I know.....he's insane. He constantly rolls and I'm confindent he would move his head if he was too close to them and couldn't breath...he's crawling now. That is my thoughts, but every child is different and if it is going to cause you to be crazy and no sleep. Then take them out! You need the sleep! :) GL and stick with your gut!
