I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. I had been taking clomid for 3 months when I found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage in Nov 08 at 8wks. My doctor performed a d&c. In Dec 08 and Jan 09 I have had very short brown spotting spells instead of my period. I have had the mild cramping and lower backache of a period but no true blood. I took a hpt and it came back negative. I wanted to know is this normal or should I see my ob-gyn.

I am so very sorry to see you have lost your baby. I am not a doctor but I believe your baby is getting back to normal. I have had 2 d&cs and one natural miscarriage. I too have had a couple of cycles of the short brown period, which only happen the first couple of cycles after each d&cs. You body is trying to get back to normal, and its perfectly fine. Once my period was back to normal I fell pregnant each time.
