Brown Discharge at 32 Weeks Pregnant? Help!

I am glad you have an appointment today- if it is your mucus plug- for some it takes weeks to come out- and if the baby is low certaintly can be putting pressure on the cervix. Please post when you get back from the docs :)

Thanks so much Caryn! I definitly will keep you posted! I just freaked out when I saw the brown clum (sorry dont meant to be gross!). I told my hubby and he was like "Ohh thats ok hun" I'm like "umm no it is not ok!" If it is the mucus plug hopefully it's just a very small part and not the whole thing! And the clumps only came out when I wiped after going to the bathroom. I'll keep you posted! Thanks so much for responding!

But I put a call into the nurse because I only bled that one day..and I am wondering if they will move me up a day? Hope so.. not that it matters a whole bunch but its one day closer

Ohh also my nipples have been leaking! They leave wet spots on my bra and shirts! Maybe I should get those bra pads? Who knows?!

Thats so strange you only had your period for a day! Have you gotten another beta done? Hopefully they will move you up since you only bled for a day and that will be here before you know it! Not too much longer!

No I dont have any nursing bras. I dont plan on nursing though. I cant with the medication I have been taking because it gets passed through the breast milk and my doctor said I definitly can not breastfeed. So I have not bought any nursing bras. Should I buy one? Will it help conatin the leaking?

Well it might- they are a bit thinker..but buying the nursing pads are cheaper, and if you are not gonna BF then no need to spend extra $$ on bras :)

Maria....how did everything go??? I hope all is well with your little man. If you don't want to buy breast pads....pantyliners work too. I used them when I was trying to "dry up" and I ran out of breast pads. Kind of weird, but same principal so whatever worked! LOL! Hugs!

I went ot the doctor and everything seemed ok. She did test me for a yeast and uti but everything else was fine. She gave me an exam and didnt see any blood or brown so that was good! A few weeks ago when I had a uti I also had some brown discharge so I'm thinking it might be that. My cervix is closed tight and my mucus plus is still in there, which is great!

Thanks Fran about the Panti liner info! I'll give them a try! I think I'll go buy some breast pads too just in case I really start leaking! Usually it's only on my shirt when I wake up in the morning. So far I have had no wet spots on my nipples during the day... thank god!
