Hi nikki, sore breasts and tender nipples usually occur after ovulation as they are due to progesterone that is secreted by the body after ovulation. May be you ovulated 3 days earlier this time unless u took an OPK 3 days earlier and it was negative.

My breat are tender, but my opk was negative couple days ago. So that means I ovualted but my opk just didn't work, right?

That sounds right, and you can always check a BBT to see if the temp is consistently >98F to confirm..
