blood pregnancy test

Dr Q how much days/weeks pregnant do you have to be for it to show in a blood test..i did a quantative blood test at 9dpo and it was negative but the nurse told me that my ob/gyn said i shouls still keep my fingers cross and if no af by 15dpo then i should do another test..does this sound right to you?

9-10dpo is the earliest hCG can be detected in blood normally, but not picked up many times and agree with the nurse

Dr Q, when considering a 3rd ivf attempt do you recommend any additional testing such as for implantation problems esp since i have endo

first time for me wasnt until 14DPO, 2nd time was the m/c, and third time was 9DPO (seems like every pregnancy is differnt) all depends on when you implant. best of luck.
