i was block fallopian tube and i dont want to undergo ivf treatments, is it possible for tubes to get unblock? and if so have it ever happen on it own?
Sometimes through surgery, the tubes can be unblocked, like one of my patients yesterday was able to have her child that way. This however, is the exception rather than the rule as the probability is low, and you would be at high risk for developing an ectopic. Your tubes simply do not unblock themselves...
Now, here's the true questions...how did you find out the tubes were blocked, if through surgery than that is definite. If through an HSG, and it was noted these were blocked proximal to the uterus, then this is the one possibility where the HSG can be wrong and gave a false positive test secondary to the tubes having spasms and not allowing the fluid to pass (you would have to have an RE review the films to make this determination)
I know this is a long shot, but what your asking requires this type of evaluation. If not, you'd be surprised that in the US, 1 out of every 100 babies born today are through IVF...That's correct, your child that you're trying to have if you decide to go through IVF will definately have several classmates that were born through IVF. Consider it, and can tell you that regardless once you have your child, there will be no regrets as you will love him/her as you can only imagine
