Hey Katie.........this is pretty common. The think to worry about is if things are accomplanied by cramping or heaving bleeding. Spotting a little is ok most of the time. But if you are worried call your doc. That is what they are there for and no question or concern should be turned away! Hugs and sticky glue!

I am in my fourth week of pregnancy and am having some light spotting. i am freaking out b/c i did not have any bleeding w/ my first child during pregnancy? I am not sure what to do????

before you panic too much, know that it's not uncommon or unheard of for a woman to experience light spotting in their first trimester. As long as you are not having severe cramping or a lot of BRIGHT red blood what your experiencing could just be "normal". I know that it's really easy for me to tell you not to worry-if you are anything like me you probably are still a nervous wreck! Make sure to call your doctor on Monday and just let them know that you are spotting and they may or may not have you come in for lab work.
