Bleeding after sex

My hubby and I are ttc. My last period was August 10th. On Sept 11th, hubby and I were having intercourse. A few minutes after we were done I saw a litte blood on my thighs. I thought maybe my period had started but there was no more bleeding. The next morning (today) there is still no more bleeding

Am I okay?

Hi Valerie,

If you have had normal pap smears within the last year, then most likely OK and little to worry about..

If you haven't been seen by a gyno in a few years, best to visit one immediately

It could just be spotting being that you are about due for your period to start. Also sometimes in early pregnancy teh cervix is really sensitive and will bleed during sex a little, which is nothing to worry about. Have you taken a test.

= ) Yeah, it can be. Its been about 30-31 days so unless you have really long cycles I would say it would be ok to test now.

I have had the bleeding thing happen to me before several times..unfortunately it ended with me always getting my period. Lets hope this is not the case for you!

This has never happened to me before. The only time I ever bled after sex was the first time and its been a while since then
