Thanks Dr. Q, Now it's turned gray with some very slight clotting. Not a ton but definitely there. I'm really freaking out. Should I head to the ER or am I blowing things out of proportion?
Black Discharge in early pregnancy???

I had posted yesterday about having some brown spotting at 6 weeks pregnant. Today the spotting appears to be more black (lovely, I know). I'm not having any pain other than mild cramping and haven't seen any red at all. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? I've been taking progesterone suppositories 3x a day and wondered if perhaps inserting them with the applicator may have irritated my cervix. Or could it be old blood from something? If so, what could the old blood be from?

Old blood, usually not significant, commonly from subchorionic bleeds but sometimes no true reason and all that's important is that there's a heartbeat
