birth control pills

Dr.Q, I'm still not clear about this. While I am on birth control pills will this keep me from getting endometrosis during the time that I am on the pills if I were going to get it?

It's unclear, although likely true, that if one doesn't have endometriosis, being on birth control pills may help prevent it's onset
