What are beta levels? And when does the Dr do blood work for them?

Beta levels are the hcg that is in your blood from being pregnant. A blood test can detect hcg in your blood around 10dpo.

Hey Shawnee, like Sarah said, the bloodwork to test for quantitative hcg levels is the beta hcg. The urine hpt is a qualitative and not quantitative test to check for the hcg chemical your body produces when you are preggo. As soon as you suspect you are preggo, you should request that your dr. schedule you for the beta hcg test and they should test your progesterone level at the same time. :-)

Hope this helps toots.
