Benadryl while ttc

Hi, I am not sure if it is safe to take every night, but I have been taking it for a cold, my doctor told me it's fine to take and I am 5 weeks.

Hi Nicki, I know Benadryl is an antihistamine, which drys up secretions/mucous and so is good for allergies and is safe to take during pregnancy. However, since it does dry up secretions, I think that if you don't have alot of CM then it may not be so beneficial with TTC. Try using veggie oil or Preseed if you notice less CM b/c antihistamines, like Benadryl will dry you up....everywhere!
