Benadryl

Hi Liane,

I just went to my doctor yesterday and she gave me a list of meds that are safe to take while pregnant and Benadryl was one of the, So yes it's safe. She said though if you take benadryl to take it at night because it may make you tired! What happened hun? What are you allergic to? Hope you feel better sweetie :)

I am allergic to many things and I chaged my laundry detergent and now my body is covered in itchy pimples...almost looks like I have the pox lol. I am rewashing all my stuff in a new detergent that I know is ok but I was soooooo itchy last night. Also, I have many food allergies and often have reactions... Thanks for that advice Maria. I googled it on the web and it did say it was safe but I wanted to double check. Love ya lots!

Hey Liane, My Dr said I could take Benadryl once if I had itching. I didnt take it, but then just letting u know my Dr told me to.

Thanks Hope. I went to see a pharmacist yesterday and they said benadryl is perfectly fine!

Liane, my friend took Benadryl throughout her pregnancy when she needed it and her son is 5 and very healthy! I hope your allergies go away!
