Being around chemo/radiation patients while prego?

Nope kelli don't need to be around that it is not safe from my understanding..they won't even let us as students go in chemo rooms in the hospital..

if you are hanging around with someone that has had chemo what could happen? Does it radiate off of them even days later? Wow, i didnt know that you couldnt be around them

Do you have someone going thru it kelli? Must be hard on ya!

I don't right now..but we are house searching/building and a home owner is going thru it and it made me wonder...

Yeah it is just the people that are on radiation..If they have the implantable radiation in them they say that you should not be around it..but if they are having chemo drugs that are not radiation then yeah you can be around them because my grandfather had prostate cancer and my sister was around him when he was taking chemo..but it is the radiation treatment that is the problem..i did not mean to say chemo rooms i meant those that were getting radiation..but still they won't let us handle the chemo drugs though,,
