My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 5 years now and I have 2 sons from a previous relationship and they are 7 and 8 and my husband has a 13 year old son from a previous relationship. I have seen 3 fertility doctors in the past and my husband had the sperm analysis done and his results were way above average which is really good and the last time I went for fertility tests they came back normal. I went and saw a new fertility doctor and he thinks I might have PCOS and that I am not ovulating as my periods are irregular, so on my next cycle he wants me to go for blood work and two different ultrasounds and than he wants to put me on a medication that actually works to help induce ovulation, it's a lot better than Clomid and it's cheaper, it just sucks that I have to wait until my next cycle cause I have no idea when that is gonna be. It's just so depressing and frustrating dealing with this and people I know keep getting pregnant and they weren't even trying which really pisses me off it's like a slap in the face. The other 3 fertility doctors I saw never mentioned anything about this other medication and never mentioned anything about PCOS which aggravates me, but I'm glad this new fertility doctor mentioned both PCOS and the medication.
