BBT

October 14, 2007

If I had a thyroid disorder , lets say hypotyroidism, could it be possible to get pregnant and not see really high BBTs? My temps the last 2 months have been somewhere between 96.8 -97.4, but now it has gone up to about 97.5 - 97.8, what does this mean? I have already passed ovulation. Does it sound like hypothyroidism? Along with really low temps, I also produce alot of EWCM amd have a very hard time losing weight. Thank you in advance!

Unless you have hypothyroid symptoms laralee, then only way do diagnose would be through lab tests, and this may, although unlikely affect your BBT as Pregnancy produced Progesterone (independant of thyroid in this case) will raise your BBTs. Hang in there, we're here to encourage getting pregnant, but also in losing weight...
