So, I know that when you ovulate your temperature jumps up and stays up until you get your period or stays up if you are pregnant.

I just started temping 2 days ago and only have 2 temps so far, but I was under the impression that at cycle day 19 your temps would at least be a little higher than 95.99 and 96.03.

Shouldn't I have ovulated and had a higher temp already? Why would my temp still be down on cycle day 19? Is it normal?

This is where BBTs get difficult. If you are taking your temperature literally as soon as your eyes open, stretch your arm out towards the night stand and immediately take your temperature, then I would expect it to be a little higher if you had ovulated. Most people are not this discipline (even myself at times that just wants to lie around in bed for a few minutes just "veggin"). If you have been this disciplined, then chances are you haven't ovulated yet and hopefully you will in the next two days and it still be normal (We consider a normal cycle to go upto 35 days (if you ovulate on day 21, then your cycle length will be 35 days)
