Back from 1st urologist appointment

we have just got back from our first urologist appointment and she seemed a lot more positive than our doctor. My partners SA showed 100,00 per ml even afetr a re-test and all bloods came back normal so were referred. our doctor was quite reluctant to go down blockage investigation path but the urologist has today referred my partner for an ultrasound (which is nwxt Wednesday) to check for any blockages and how severe the blockage is, as well as another SA (27th August) with another appointment with the urologist just after. She was saying about if there is a blockage then they will look into surgery to remove it meaning a 50/50 chance of natural conception. After around 9 months after that, if still no pregnancy will look into alternative routes. She said they will freeze sperm at the operation point but will retest his SA after the operation to see if the numbers increase and will keep doing this until the 9 - 12 month mark to see if it has helped and whether further treatment is needed.
