Ashley's TTC Journey

April 24, 2009

My husband and I have been TTC for a year and a half now. We have tried clomid, femara, femara with IUI, and now Injections with IUI.

I have had endometriosis just on my left side that I had removed 3 years ago. Was diagnosed with mild hypothyroidism and my left ovary is pretty quiet.

My husband has a great sperm count but below normal motility and morphology, but nothing really bad.

I am 27 and he is 32. Here is my most recent cycle that will hopefully result in a BFP...

CD2 went in for sonogram, everything was good to go. put me on gonal-f injections for the next 5 days 150iu CD 3-7.

CD 8 went in for sonogram to check to see if I had responded to meds. I had one dominant follicle at 24mm and three others at 13mm on my right ovary...the left had a couple but were pretty small.

Still CD 8...dr. called said I had to trigger that night because of the large follie and scheduled IUI 36 hours after trigger.

My estradiol was 947 and thyroid was back to normal, yay!

I am now 2 dpiui, waiting to see if it will work. my fingers and toes and legs and anything else I can cross are crossed. I pray this will work!

Hi Ashley,

Thanks for your message. It means so much to not feel alone in this process. I wish you all the baby dust in the world!! It's very exciting to know we are on the journey to starting a family. It's just a matter of time, and I hope this is our month. And then we can talk about pregnancy symptoms. Yay!! Keep in touch.
