Hi Cynthia,

In this case, it now comes down to the type of ovarian stimulation performed, with increasing pregnancy rates listed below depending on the type of med used:

Nothing

Clomid/Letrozole

Injectable Gonadotropins

Consideration can be given to acupuncture and fertility supplements. Make sure he abstains for 2 days prior to the IUI. Good luck, and keep us posted...

Thank you, right now I am taking 50mg of clomid cycle days 3-7, dexamethasone beginning cycle day 3 until the day a receive my HcG shot. I am also taking a prenatal vitamin. Is there anything we should be doing diet and exercise wise to help? Should my husband be taking a daily vitamin as well?

Hi Cynthia,

things appear to be Ok, but if you want vitamins, there are male fertility supplements we've talked about on this site, and can search for them. They're not essential, but may help a little, k. Good luck, and keep us posted!
