Are most PCOS period while on Metformin ovulatory?

Hi, I've been on Metformin for about 4 months and have been successful at bringing on my periods. Although they have not been completely regular, they've been more regular than they have been. BEfore Metformin, my periods were about 3-4 months apart. Now they're 30-40 days apart.

My question is, are the periods that I'm having likely due to ovulation? Or is it possible that they annovulatory?
