DHEA is supposed to help with egg quality. A friend going through infertility was told by her doc to give it a try. She is taking it for 5 months with letrozole. I'm going to talk to my fertility specialist about it, already got the ok from the ob/gyn after my LAP.

What is DHEA ? Is it a pill ?

Yes it is a supplement. It is sold in places like CVS or Walgreens. Here is some info a friend sent me:

Hhhmmm, that's interesting. I read one of the links above and it says you should take it under a doctors care. What's the story there?

hmm interesting..not sure if I can help, but when they tested my DHEA(S) and was slightly elevated, they wanted to examine my adrenal glands and also said that elevated DHEAS can indicate PCOS. I would definately discuss with ur Dr before taking supplements..
