How much does the uterine lining grow... »

Anyone pregnant with Fibromyalgia? Please lend me your knowledge!! :) 2 Doctors 2 totally different opinions :/

Okay so long story short, I was diagnosed with FMS a few months ago and have an MRI August 3rd to rule out MS and a couple other things. Well my OB/GYN is THE BEST!!! He is new to me as I just moved to my new town, and he is SOOO supportive and knows it could get difficult especially with the placental abruption and high BP I had in my last pregnancy, but he knows I can do it and says he will help me every step of the way.

My other Dr. on the other hand keeps saying it will be a mistake going off all my meds...(prestique, tramadol, maloxicam, toprol XL, Maxalt, Requip, and lortabs) Well I listened to my OB and went off ALL meds 2 weeks ago. It has been hell, and these surges I get in my head are unbearable, but I will NOT take ANY pills while pregnant. Never have NEVER WILL!

My question is what should I expect being pregnant with FMS. My OB says it could be very difficult but many women actually find relief of their FMS symptoms until the last trimester, but my family DR. says it is going to be SO PAINFUL and I should really rethink this until I go into remission which could be a couple years away still.

I am going through with TTC and I have already made it through the worst of withdrawals, but I just would like some experiences and some advise. :)

THANKS YOU! :)

You know what happens when you ask 2 different doctors a medical question... you get 3 different opinion :D

Wish I could chime in, but not an expert on this topic
