Anyone know much about CVS?

Anyone know much about Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)? I know it can be done weeks 10-12 to find out if the baby has problems, but how much does it hurt. And how long do the results take to get back? I am going to see about arranging this test & have an appt to speak to my OB about it 8/13.I'm currently 9w 2d pregnant & will be 10w 3d when I see my OB on 8/13. Please Any dr's or other ppl who know more on it please tell me!

Sometimes, prelimary tests can be done to where you have results within 48hrs, but the true test results takes 2 wks
