So whats your story babyhope? I gave birth to my son november 2006. My dh and I concieved him with our fourth round of clomid and glucophage or metformin. We just recently tried 5 rounds of the same combination and nothing. Then I was going to go on clomid again with IUI but my re found a cyst so she wouldnt put me on it. I had high progesterone levels so we went ahead with the trigger shot and iui.

We just found out at the end of June that my dh has antibodies on his sperm, preventing fertilization. The RE basically told us that IVF with ICSI is our only hope, but to try IUI just in case the sperm wash can shake some of those antibodies off. So we just did our first round, unmonitored with clomid. We'll do a few rounds of IUI before taking the leap to IVF

Im sorry to hear that. I dont know how doctors can say only IVF with ICSI will work. I was just reading a post where she was told by her re that she didnt O so she couldnt get pregnant and she just got her bfp today

Hi ladies

I am in 2WW too. Got my IUI done last friday and saturday(2 consequetive days). I had really bad cramps followed by IUI , y'day through out the day and night. Today I have no cramps but, had some spotting. I had spotting y'day in the morning too. My nipples are sore since today morning. Am I reading too much into the signs, or , these are implantation signs? I think it is way too early to think about implantation, since Iam just 2dpIUI.

The other problem is,I ovulated on thursday which is the night before my IUI, soon after the trigger shot. Iam not sure if the egg waited that long for the sperm to fertilize it.

My nurse said, it is ok to notice spotting after IUI and the ovulation just before the IUI is a perfect scenario. But I have my doubts.

Iam 28 and Hubby is 34 and he doesn't have any sperm problems. He is doing his job right. TTC since 1yr. I had total 5 follicles on thursday , just before I took trigger shot. 1 follicle 20.3mm, rest 14mm. so, the numbers were good.

Hoping to conceive soon and lot of babydust to you all.

AK10511, I totally understand how how annoying the cysts are. Last month , my very first cycle was cancelled on cd3 because of High estrogen level, caused by a cyst. I was so dissapointed, but atleast, this month, I made it to IUI procedure. so, dont lose hope.
