I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and even tho we pay over $600 a month for 90/10 coverage..it has pd off because we ended up doing ivf for #2 and it covered almost everything. I had $15,000 in infertility coverage and so did the dh.

I know that in South Carolina there is NO insuracne company that covers any part of fertility.

We have to pay out of pocket for EVERYTHING.

The Capital One Health Care Loan is good. We used it in the beginning when I was having my surgery and lap done.

I haven't come across anyone with Individual insurance that covers infertility...myself included. I am going to do some research about this Capitol One Health Care Loan in case we end up needing it.

we have aetna thru DH's work and they have covered everything. We are very fortunate. It is a PPO

my dh has blue cross ppo through work here in cali but i was told when i called they don't cover fertility care at all. i wonder if it's because he is part of a union. dr. q or katie do you know of the apr% on those capital one loans?

Jen...you can find it online by looking up Capital One Health Care Loan. There is an estimator on the webpage that will tell you the monthly payment and approximate apr.
