Ok well some of you know that I have been TTC for about a year and a half now with out any success! I didnt know what to do or how to go about fixing this so when I found this site I asked a few of the ladies and got some very good advice!

I went to see a GYN on July 2nd and was talking to her about the problems I have been having, so she had some blood work done to check my hormones. I just called her back today(July 23rd) and she told me that my hormones are all "out of wack" and that it would be better for me to see someone who specializes in infertility. She has refered me to another GYN that can perscribe clomid and stuff like that. I also have an ultrasound scheduled for Friday to make sure there are no cysts or anything!!

I feel like I am finally getting the help that I need without getting looked down on for being 21 and wanting a baby!

Good luck Vanessa, its not a journey any of us particularly enjoy, but just try to stay positive and remember it will all be worth it in the end! Being 21 has nothing to do with it.. when you are ready .. you're ready.. and no one should tell you different! Keep us all posted.

Thank you!! I am really excited about getting the whole thing up and moving!! I am more positive now that I know why then I was before!!

I feel the same way about being ready! I know that I want a baby right now and so I am willing to do anything to have my dream come true!

I am 21 too and I have run into the same problems! Doctors are always telling me that I am young and shouldn't worry about it... so I guess you are supposed to wait until you are almost out of time on your biological clock and having problems before they take you seriously. I hate the prejudice. I have been married for three years and they look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that.

You should try using the OPK's... I get mine from early-pregnancy-tests online for pretty cheap. ~~~Baby Dust~~~

I know it sucks when they dont even look at you like you are an adult and tell you to just keep trying!!

Have they told you why you are having a hard time conceiving Rachel?

Thanks for the suggestion but I am pretty sure that I am not ovlating and dont really want to waste a bunch of money on OPK's! I was just told on Friday that the reason I am not getting pregnant is because I have not been shedding my endo. lining and that it may be cancer! I will just have to wait and see what the doc says before I go any further with buying things to help me!!
