Thanks Meg :) I'm sure I'll be fine. I'm actually seeing the same docs as when I had my daughter but my file is so darn thick that it would take them a LOT of digging to find info on my first pregnancy 13yrs ago.

I was wondering if 13yrs ago when I was pregnant with my daughter I somehow ran out of amniotic fluid toward the end of my pregnancy and was induced on my due date. We only found that out from an u/s cause I wasn't feeling the baby kick as much. Since I am constantly wet now the last few days and it is clear and sort of sweet smelling, what are my chances that it is happening again? Is this something that repeats itself each pregnancy and what causes one to no longer have any amniotic fluid, especially since 13yrs ago I don't remember leaking any. I'm not too concerned since I have been feeling little Cameron kick like a maniac tonight but I am curious if this is something I should mention to my doctor when I go on March 17th.

I wish I was in Cali and you were my doctor. :) Although to be honest, when people ask me who my doctor is, I always name the ones I see in person and then I say, my other doctor is Dr. Q, he's based in California. ha ha :)

I just found this on the net...let me know what you think...
Sounds like the baby has settled into the birth position, lower in your pelvis. This is normal and it is very uncomfortable.
Amniotic fluid is clear, but it is fluid. It isn't mucus. You could be loosing your mucus plug though. That might explain the discharge. If you notice that your underwear is wet, like fluid, then you may want to call your doctor. You can do the sniff test. Sounds gross, but amniotic fluid smells sweet, not like urine.
Sometimes before labor starts, you will have diarrhea, it's the bodies way of cleaning its self out before the big event.
Call your doctor if you are worried. They will probably check you, or tell you to go to labor and delivery to be monitored and checked. You can also go to labor and delivery to be checked. They will monitor you for a while and do a litmus test to see if it is fluid you are leaking. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Okay the receptionist was really cool :) I have a great group of docs that I see. She was like their gonna want you to come in, and I was like I really don't want to waste one of your appts and she was like, not even..you're coming in. So I'm going in at 12pm. I'm gonna be so embarrassed if it's nothing.
Yeah Fran, I am seeing one of my docs, she's really nice. It's a group of like 5 docs and the one I was scheduled to see on March 17th is my least favorite cause she is always like not taking me seriously or never thinks anything is cause for concern. I feel like she gives me the brush off. But the one I am seeing today is one of my favorites. She was too cute at my last appt. when we heard the h/b she was like OMG, I can't wait to meet this little guy :) She's really cool.
