im a little confused about your dates here, when was the date of your last bleed( first day) and how long are your cycles normally?

Sounds also like you may have something else which may not be pregnancy though, please see a doc if it gets worse

Pritee, were you expecting your period on 9th July and still not gotten it? If ur preggo test is -ve then most likely u are not preggo as of that time. You could have ovulated later than you thought and thats why your period has not started.

The last date of my bleed was 9th June and the cycle is of 30 day. I had taken a ayurvedic medicine to conceive and the symptoms are likly to be same as of pregnancy which started nearly at around 8th of july. i did the HPT test on 14th july which was negative so i was confused about my pregnancy. Do we get a felling of fullness near the diaphram during as a symptom of pregnancy.

if i were you love i would go see your doctor and ask for a blood test to check for pregnancy and infection also, ask him/her to examine you also. hope all goes well xxx

hi my upt is negative and the ultrasound at 6 wks shows no gestational sac. i am totaly confused as one of the dr is saying that it is due to PCOD and there is no pregnancy while other dr(Ayurvedic specialist) is saying that definately you are pregnant and has given me some medicine to increase the growth of the fetus. please share your thought if any one can have the late pregnancy and should i keep my self positive.

Hi Pritee sorry to hear you are having such confusion. If your upt is negative then I would say you are not pregnant. I guess with PCOD you do not ovulate regularly. You may need help from a medical doctor to ensure you ovulate. Sorry i have not heard of Ayurvedic specialist. Good luck.

I think the pcod did not cause u to have a period and so no pregnancy. What tests did ur Ayurveda Dr do to tell u u arereggo? At 6 W, u shud see the gestational sac and a heartbeat if the dating is correct. If I were you, I would go straight to a Fertility Specialist and not an Ayurvedic Dr.

If it is PCOD, no you will not get periods of your own because you do not ovulate. Only if you ovulate, the harmones resulting from ovulation can get u preggo or have period. Sometimes its the mind playing tricks and makes you assume things, it happens to almost all ppl trying to get preggo.

But the other thing is because of your PCOD, you ovulated vrey very late and probably recently. That can also cause these symptoms because its the same harmone that is produced after ovulation that supports both pregnancy and your period. Unless u know when u ovulated, very difficult to tell anything. I would wait another few days and test again. If u dont get ur period in 2 weeks and still -ve preggo tests then you should talk to ur Dr.
