Almost 7 weeks pregnant

Hi Sarad, Congratz on the pregnancy. Our dreams often reflect our thoughts, and during early pregnancy, all sorts of worries go through our minds especially about miscarriages. When you constantly think about something (even subconsciously), your going to get dreams about it. Your brain processes all information gathered thru the day when you sleep and this is what sometimes reflects as dreams.

If you have had good rising HCG and saw the heart beat via Ultrasound, then ur M/C rates drop a lot. Until then irrespective of the dream, anyone pregnant has the same chance of miscarryng :( Dont worry everything will be ok, think +. Good luck

Hey Sara....this seems to be pretty normal during pregnancy and I think we have all had these dreams! Sadly it is just your mind playing with you! :(

I agree with Hope.....have you had your hcg checked and an u/s yet? These will help to calm your worries. Hugs and sticky glue!!

Sara, I will be nine weeks tomorrow and I have been having crazy dreams for the last few weeks. I think that the pregnancy hormones set your mind into overdrive! Some of them have been scary... like my baby is already here and someone is trying to steal them... and some of them are just crazy like flying or something. I don't think that it is abnormal to be experiencing this, from what I understand it is just maternal instincts kicking in and wanting to protect your baby.

Thank you so much everyone. I haven't gone and gotten my hcg checked or had a u/s. My first doctors appt isnt unti the 20th. My husband is in the military so they kinda take there time on this. So i hope when i go the 20th i will see something or hear something. I will be almost 9 weeks then so i am hoping for something. Again i just wanted to thank all of you for you kind words!

WHen I was in my first trimester I had WEIRD dreams all the time. I had a dream that I gave birth to a non-livng baby, I had dreams where I miscarried, etc. The dreams are really just a reflection on your worries and fears- and some dreams seriously come out from no where! I am now 25 weeks pregnant and the number of dreams that I remember have greatly decreased. I am not sure if that is because I am not sleeping very well at night anymore, or what. Don't let your dreams worry you, if you did you'd end up going crazy :)

Thank you again girls, You are so much help. Last night i went to the bathroom and there was some pink in there. I Freaked out. I was crying and going on. Well i just think it was nothing but i go to the nurse tomorrow to fill out paper work so i will ask her then. Thank you so much girls!

Sarad- sometimes light spotting is common in early pregnancy. Try not to freak out too much :)
