Fertility decreases with age, since your ovarian reserve decrases, but some women in their 30's and 40's are able to get pregnant although it might take a bit longer than if they were younger.

I understand this but webmd said that a woman is most fertile in her late 20s. Is this true?

Thanks Angelfish. Just concerned because I didn't conceive last month. Wish I knew my conplete health background. My mom was adopted so all we know is that her biological mom had no trouble conceiving; my mom was one of five, and my mom had no trouble conceiving my brother or me. I just hope I'm like they are.
