acruate or subseptated uterus ?

Marriage-
Lolita

February 18, 2010

from over a year i was told by 2d ultrasound and HSG that i have a septum in my uterus

i went to another doc i am trying actually iui now BUT when doing the 3d ultrasound my doc told me that we cant say that it is septum because there is no septum inside the uterus but the top of the uterus has a dip also i asked if i can consider it acruate uterus he say also he cant write that also in my report because by measuring the uterus the number is subseptated uterus in heart shape but he explain that there is not a septum inside and that it does not need surgery and he told me that i have unexplained infertility

what i have to do i have done 3 months of failed iui one without natural without any fertility drugs and the two other with clomid 100mg + trigger shot and a single iui after 26 hours

i was told to try 2 more months of iui before moving to IVF

IVF is really expensive and i dont want it to fail of this uterus problem i am really comfused and i need help

The ways to really know how uterus is shaped is via MRI or Laparoscopy, and would consider doing these to see if there's a septum, for which removal may be beneficial (removed via hysteroscopy)
