I love this site. I have read so many heartfelt stories about life! A bit about me. (this is the fun part LOL!) My husband and I have been married for 10 years. I am a housewife, have been for 9 years. God has blessed us with 5 wonderful and healthy children. We have 2 Boys and 3 girls. We have decited to have another baby. By now you would think I would know my body well enought but I know nothing about it really. This site has really helped me learn alot. I am due to start ovulation on the 4th So I really hope we get pregnet this cycle. I have always wanted a big family. If any one has any info that will help me know my body better please share it. When should I take my pregnancy test. What Signs do I look for? I look forward to your input. Thank you for reading about our journey.

God Bless

The best way to help when ttc is to take ovulation tests. I'd say start testing on cd10 so you don't miss it. Then you can test with a home pregnancy test 14dpo. Some women feel symptoms of progesterone and others don't. Every woman's body is different. Some women take their basal body temps every morning before getting out of bed to help determine ovulation and possible signs of pregnancy. But Dr. Q has always said ovulation tests are the best. Some women look for changes in their cm, but some women don't notice changes...so again an ovulation test is probably best. That is what I used and I conceived my first month using one and I also was not taking any meds. Oh and I also would recommend that you take take folic acid while ttc or a store brand prenatal vitamin. I wish you the best of luck!!!

Thanks for your feedback. I do notice alot of change in my cm. I have been told to look for the cm that looks like egg white? Will it be "white" or more of a clear color? I am sorry I am not trying to be gross. I just want to know what to look for. And Also when do hubby and I start to try. If I am to O on the 4th when should we start to try. Thanks again for all your help.

more clearish in color. You should babydance the day before you think you'll ovulate and then the day you do and the day after. That should cover you really good. Also try and lay in bed for about 15 minutes with a pillow under your hips to help the spermies on their journey. :)

Hi Marie30- Marie is my middle name :) I wanted to say thanks for your support- your kind words truly warmed my heart, I really needed it! I find that journaling and keeping a calender really helps the awareness of ovulation and fertile opps- try ivillage.com - there is a nice fertility planner you can use to track your information, I am a very visual person so seeing the cycles in a nice calender help me - I can get preggo very easily, just can't make it stick yet. I have scheduled surgery to have the septum removed, I just pray and keep positive at this point, it seems like this is something I have to do. Happy New Year and thanks again, Elyssa.
