Well lets start off by saying I am 25 yrs old and so is dh. We have been together for almost 6 years and married for 2. We have been ttc for 21 months now. I had my 21 day prog. levels check in July 2008 to see if I ovulated and my dr did an u/s to make sure I did not have anything on my ovaries. Everything came back fine! So then it was time for my DH to put his little buddies in a cup (which he never did) to see if it might be him.
Well 2 months went past and still not luck. I am not the type to test, I just wait to see if AF shows. Of course, AF showed in August. Then September came. I started coaching a local Middle school cheerleading squad and it completely took my mind off of things because I was too busy getting stuff together for fundraising and competition. I had my last AF on Sept 5. A couple weeks later, my dh's grandfather died (which he was our pastor at our wedding) and then I really wasn't thinking about ttc.
Well Oct came and AF didnt come by the 7th(which I usually always start before or on the 7th of every month). The 7th was a Tuesday. I felt like I was pregnant but I have never been pregnant and really didn't know what to think! My bbs were hard and hurting worse than they have before but it truely felt like AF was on her way!! I decided to wait and test until that Saturday, Oct 11. I woke up early that morning, well bc I had to pee (tmi) and decided to test while DH was still in bed. I bought a HPT from a local pharmacy(it was a cheap one). I peed on the stick and right away a line came up. Not knowing anything about HPT and put the stick down to wait to see if there were 2 lines. Not even 2 seconds later, the second line appeared. I couldn't believe it!! I went to the bedroom and got DH out of bed and was like come here a minute! He walked into the bathroom and said "Theres two lines" and he huged me and we both just stood there crying! It was the best day of my life.....Now I am 22 weeks pregnant with a little boy!! I hope my story gives you hope and courage not to give up!! If anyone of you ever need to talk...I am always on FT!!
