If you know you ovulated on the 7th because of tests that you did, such as an OPK or BBT, then you had intercourse appropriately to maximize your chances of getting pregnant. You should know that if you did use an OPK, you actually don't ovulate until sometime during the next day after a positive test. For those of you trying to get pregnant, the fertility window is best (which means to have intercourse) 3 days before ovulation till the day after ovulation.

Your prognosis for pregnancy depends on many factors, but you did things well and we're keeping our fingers crossed for you!

Yes, that runny white vaginal discharge is an indicator that you will ovulate in a couple of days. Good Luck!

Okay this might sound odd but I seem to have discharge all the time...I haven't had a period in over a year but is it still possible that I am ovulating? How would I tell when I am and if I am? I have PCOS so I didn't think I was ovulating but all this talk has got me thinking. Dr. Q and anyone else who would like to jump in please do. I am desperate for some advise. Thanks and babydust to all!

Hi Amber,

If you're not having periods, then you're not ovulating irrespective of the discharge that you're noticing...
