8 week ultrasound update

I had my 8 week u/s today. I was so worried about having a missed m/c that I freaked myself right out! I guess I am one of the very lucky people who get away with little to no pregnancy symptoms. Weird! Anyway, the little munchkins heart was beating away- 162bpm! It was measuring almost right on. 7 weeks, 5 days. Everything looks great so now I am really going to try and relax. We are leaving on vacation for a week and I would like to not be a nut case for the full week away!!!! My doctor informed me today that after 8 weeks and having seen a strong heartbeat, chances of miscarriage decrease dramatically. For someone my age (31), there now exists about a 2-3% chance, so things are looking good! Of course, there is always that chance and one is never fully in the clear but we are getting there! Kelli, how did your u/s go today?
congrats kristin and kelli!! I am going on 8 weeks and that is sooo good to hear that your chances do decrease with m/c. I have been a bit of a stresser also. I dont get my u/s til 11-12 weeks, but i have had pretty bad nausea and they did a b/test on me last week and everything was spot on! how exciting xxxx
