8 DPO and no breast tenderness?

The chart that I see is elevated with only the most recent value below 98, and not all women feel breast tenderness when post-ovulatory. If I were you, I'd go get a blood Progesterone test and that would be much more diagnostic than a BBT to determine how your progesterone values are. If your Progesterone is slightly low, then next month would consider Progesterone supplementation

Actually, I took my temperature twice this morning. When I first put the thermometer in my mouth, it beeped in less than a minute (which is pretty unusual) and it showed 97.97, and I think I have put it in the shallow part of my mouth. So, I put it back in right away and this time, it took longer than the first one and put it in the deeper part of my mouth, it read 98.1. I have put 97.97 since it is the first temperature that came up first, but should I consider the 98.1? Which do you think is the more accurate one?

I also shared my chart with other "trying to conceivers" in another forum and they said it might be an implantation dip, depending on what my temperature would be tomorrow.

One more thing...I am not seeing an RE, just an OB/GYN, however, it is ALWAYS HARD to request a blood test from. I did call them up sometime this week (after ovulation) if I could have my progesterone checked on 7 DPO, and they said it would not warrant it. Do you think my regular doctor (primary care physician) would be able to give me an order form for this? Thanks again! :-)

And since it's Friday tomorrow, will it be too late if I'll get my progesterone checked on Monday? I will be 12 DPO by then.

It would be better to get it tomorrow if possible to determine what your Progesterone level is instead of Monday. If they won't draw up your progesterone level, then might as well just ask for a Progesterone Rx from your doc, you purchase the med and use them after ovulation...that way there's absolutely no worries what so ever, irrespective if there's a progesterone deficiency or not.

Thanks, doc. I just called my doc's office and they would not honor my request. They want me to have an appointment first! Ugh! But looking at the brighter side, my temperature went back up this morning to 98.4. So, I'm hoping that it will stay like that until I get a positive HPT, and hopefully it was indeed an implantation dip yesterday.

I'm currently on 13 DPO and I took the test this morning and it showed a very faint pink line. On 10 DPO, however, I also took a test and it showed NOTHING but the control line. This morning too, my temperature is still elevated at 98.4. Usually, it will start to drop 3 to 4 days before my period comes, and I would start to have spotting or cramps. None of these happened this cycle, and technically, my period is supposed to be due tomorrow at 14 DPO. Last cycle, my period came on 13 DPO. (I ovulated on July 1st and my period came July 14.) We are so excited with the faint line that showed up...that means, it detected an HCG hormone in my urine!! :-) Even our 5-year-old daughter said she sees two lines, one is light pink and the other is dark pink.

I took a picture of it, it's too close, so I'm not sure if it's that visible. But according to the instructions, the "test line" is supposed to be light pink and not as dark as the "control line". So, I'll post the link of the picture here and tell me what you think. Thanks again, doc!
