You're in my prayers!!!!
7 weeks pregnant and bleeding
January 21, 2008
Hi,
I had a scare this past Friday. I had gone on Thursday for my very first U/S. Everything was great. I saw the heartbeat and fetal pole, and the fetus was high in my uterus. I was no longer nervous. Then early friday morning I woke up with some brown discharge. I was bleeding both red and brown blood each and every time I went to the bathroom. I rushed in to the doctors for another U/S that same day. They told me that everything looked fine. Baby's heart was still beating. I was put on bedrest this weekend but it is pretty much the same. Both brown and red blood when I go to the restroom. Can this be ok for the baby? I hope this is not a sign for miscarriage. I dont have any cramps which i assume to be a good thing. They checked my cervix and it was closed and fine. they checked for cysts or growths and none were seen. What should i do? This waiting game is making me nuts.

Went for the sono today. I heard the heart beat!!! It was the best thing ever! The bleeding is tapering off so it seems that things are looking up for the time being. I will keep you posted. Thank you for all the support you have shown. It's great to have people who I can turn to that care and are going through similar situations. Having you here through this journey puts my mind to ease. THANK YOU!!!!!!
good luck. my friend had the same experience. as long as no cramps, and bleeding stops, odds are everything is ok.
my advice(actually her DR adviced):take very very good bed rest. i mean no driving, travelling, don't pick up heavy things(i would say not even laundry bag), no sex. take rest at least untill you are 12 weeks if you could.
relax take rest.ask somebody to help you with house work.
she just stayed and stayed in the bed, and everything turn out to be fine.

Thank goodness that your baby is okay. It is possible that the bleeding was just part of the implantation process. After I read this I started doing some research and most articles were saying that this can happen during the first month to a month and half without it being life threatening to the baby.
I will keep praying for you and your baby. HUGS!!! I am sure that everything will be fine.
Keep us posted hun. Lots of love to you and your baby.
