6 weeks n scared

Hi Peachy,

Sometimes a heartbeat can not be detected at 6 weeks- especially if a person ovulates later than expected. DO you know exactly when you ovulated? I was about 6 1/2 weeks when we got to see the heartbeat on the U.S.

o ok. no, i dont know when i ovulate but they just scared me soo bad making me think the worst. so u have given me a lil ounce of hope, im excited again now!!!!! thanks for the sticky glue as well

Dont be to scared..and try to stay calm even though i know how hard that it..I was almost 7 weeks and they could not detect a heart beat but at 7 1/2 weeks they could see it on the ultra sound...good luck ..sticky glue and keep us posted... HUGS

so I am assuming that you are going by the last date of your period? If that is the case- you might think you are 6 weeks- but you may only be 5 1/2 or something...

I can't remember when they say a heartbeat is detectable on a u.s but I am pretty sure it's 6 weeks and at least a few days :)

actually i didnt know how far i was, they tod me wen i went and had the sonnogram and said i was 6 wks and one day. my last cycle was april.

Sometimes it takes longer to see the heartbeat so dont stress out because that will only make things worse. Also the pink discharge could just be implantation bleeding nothing to worry about unless it is dark red and if you start getting pains in your lower back. Just try to take it easy and relax until your next Drs appt. GoodLuck

thanks melissa. they didnt tell me this was common they just let me sit there worried. but i feel alot better thans to u guys.....im not as stressed. thanks soooomuch

Hope everything turns out ok for you. I agree with everyone that it just may be a little early for the hr to be seen. Sending tons and tons of sticky glue. many women spot and all is well. take care!
