Yes, the possibility of sextuplets exists..albeit low and much depends on your fertility factors and what kind of stimulation used...
However, once the eggs ovulate (they all do right around the same time) they either get fertilized that day, or they simply "dissolve"...so waiting several days is simply meant by your doc so that you don't get pregnant with these many eggs and always best to follow your doc's orders
