Could it be posible to be just 5 weeks pregnant and have back pain that early? What would cause this? Is their something we can do?

I just found out I am about 4 weeks pregnant and that's what I have the most of is back pain. For the last 4 days it's been solid pain and very uncomfortable. I told my DH that if this is how it's going to be for the rest of the pregnancy it's going to be a rough one...

Dana if you are 4 weeks pregnant that means will have probably the same symptoms at the same time. I don't remember having back pain that early in my first pregnancy, but then again I found out I was pregnant I was already 8 weeks pregnant.

your body goes thru some crazy stuff especially in the beg of the pregnancy. Do you ever have back pain with AF? Give it a few weeks and if it doesnt get better or if it gets worse then you should call your doc for sure. Take care and congrats......

Pregnancy is all new to me for sure. I get horrible backaches when I have AF. I thought for sure AF was coming because of the backache. Well normally it means AF will follow a few hours later, so after 4 days I started thinking it can't be AF. My mom also had the same backaches during her AF. She also said she had back labor with me and my sisters... So I just figured it was another lovely thing I got passed down from my mom...

I have had back aches off and on since day one and I am now 15 weeks. OUr bodies really do go through an amazing transformation. This is my 4 pregnancy after three miscarriages and this time around I was concerned initally about the back aches, but dr said that it was just my body preparing for the baby and the uterus expanding. I am sure you will be ok, but you can always check with your dr, rest, and they told me it was ok to use a heating pad.. I hope you feel better soon. Lots of Sticky glue..
