I am also trying for #2 although my IUI's didn't work for #1 and we got pregnant naturally while waiting for IVF. My Dr. would only do 3 IUIs before doing IVF. My ds is almost 9 months old and I am still bf him so my cycles are a little different than before. Now we are just starting to try for #2. I am charting this month to see when I ovulate-so for cd 17 and just starting to see some ewcm. We are hoping to go back to the RE in January but am still waiting for an appointment. Good luck on your IUI's this month. Hope you get a BFP first round this time.

Welcome Izzy's Mom! I'm in the same boat as you. I have a 3 year old and have been trying for #2. I got pregnant on my 1st IUI with my son. This time we have done 4 IUI's. I am now in the waiting period after IUI #4 to see if I'm pregnant. It has been tough since I was spoiled and got pregnant on my 1st IUI last time. I'm older now and starting to get a little nervous about why its not working. I'm having my blood test on the 28th to see if I'm preggo. Can't wait.

Good Luck to you this week. Are you starting Clomid or injections? Not sure how old you are or what fertility problems you have.

Had my IUI on Mon the 24th. Dr. said to give it 3 to 6 months of trying, but I am praying this first one will be it! She also said you only have a twenty percent chance of conceiving every month anyway...??! I am 34 now, so I feel pressure! did a round of oral clomid and could feel my ovaries bursting this month!

that is so great u got preggo with ur 1st IUI. Doc told me that usually isn't the case, but I am hoping for us since I have had one pregnancy already, maybe my body will just remember what to do!!

Our fertility issues are unexplained.

Hey Izzy's mom...unfortunately I'm not. Had a bloodtest done on Friday and it was negative and AF showed up yesterday. Little frustrated but I'm not giving up. We are taking Dec. off from medications and trying on our own. Tired of Dr. visits. I'm not freaking out just yet. I am just hoping I can be pregnant by my 39th birthday at the end of April. Also hoping we can do it without having to move to IVF. I really hope your IUI works. The emotions involved in doing multiple IUI's with no luck are really hard. Keep me posted!

ohh..I'm sorry. I will be praying for you! We took a month off during our 4 attempts when I did my first rounds and the next month was the one that worked. I know with the holidays coming up it can be stressful. We weren't even going to try until Jan. just bc of so many things going on, but my Dr. advised to get the ball rolling.

Hang in there. YOu have one and I am certain another one will be in the works for you!

hi izzy's mom! i am just went through my 2nd iui...i will test early on monday morning. my first iui failed and im hoping this one worked.

reading your story has def given me hope. i know if this cycle doesnt work we will def try iui 2 more times!

Hi izzy's mom! I have a 4 year old son who we conceived naturally after 18 months. We have been TTC #2 for 27 months. I Had an IUI last cycle but did not work. I am moving for the 2nd in next week. I am on 50mg of clomid. I have unexplained infertility? When are you testing?

tested today and it was negative. Guess I will be taking clomid again in Dec. and doing another IUI. my dr. said to give it 3-6 months (last time worked on the 4th time) so I will keep trying.

sad today, but trying to stay positive.

our fertility issues are unexplained. we are both fine-I ovulate regularly and his sperm count is totally normal. we tried naturally again for #2 for the last 13 months and nothing had happened, so I wanted to try and speed things up. Fortunately IUI is soooo affordable and basically painless! It's just waiting the 12-14 days to test that is torture!!!!

Izzy's Mom, I'm so sorry to hear about that negative test. I hate that!! Good Luck next cycle.

I just finished my first round of 100mg Clomid on Friday. I go in tommorrow for CD12 US and trigger, IUI later in week. I am nervous that it won't work and DH and I haven't decided how far we will take this.

good luck and keep me posted. I really hope it works for you early on so you don't have to play the waiting game too long. 100 mg of clomid should definitely do the trick!
