42 days and no menstration?

Hi I'm 22 years old and had a miscarriage last year in october. I was in my 9th week. I have had pretty consistant menstral cycles no longer than 35 days since , my leutal phase is usually 13 days long and I ovulate anywhere from cd18 and cd23. This month I ovulated on day cd27 on my bbt chart. my hubby and I have been trying again for a couple months as well. I know ovulating later would make my cycle longer this month. I am currently 11 days late for my period. 7dpo I started cramping like af and got a positive opk on 7dpo-10dpo. All hpts have been negative so far. I am currently on 15dpo and I feel crampy, but no signs of menstration yet??? My question is am I still early to get a positive hpt if pregnant? Also why was I getting positive opks but not hpts? I'm kinda worried...I have never in my life been late for a period more than seven days. Kinda concerned...any adivse would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to FertilityTies!

If you have tender breasts, your hpts are elevated, and you did note an opk, then maybe a little to early to check with your hpt..

You can either recheck in 3-5 days if your AF doesn't show, or you can get a blood test

Good luck, and keep us posted..

No breast tenderness at all I havent had any since the miscarriage. My nipples have been tender a little off and on. Thank you for your post. I had a little bit of spotting lastnight but havent had anymore now. I'm still a little crampy, but I'll wait and see what today looks like. Still no af. My bbt has also been elevated the past couple days now. Is it odd to not "feel pregnant," if so if I am or not get a positive hpt this late on? Thanx again!

So nothing as of right now.....I had no spotting today only slight cramping still and a little low back pain. I am currently 16dpo today. I am wondering if AF does show what caused this cycle to be off? Not really any more stressed than usual??? I am concerned only b/c hubby and I would like to have children and ever since the miscarriage I feel like i'm borken or something.

I took another hpt this morning still neagtive....I have had a very little pimples on my chin probably from stress. I called my gyno today and said to wait another week to test since my gyno isnt in this week. If negative they will bring me in for testing. Ugh I have still had no sign of af but tender nipples havent gotten worse fatigued these past few days and crmaps of and on other than that no spotting nothing! even thought maybe having sex might jump start and nothing...lol feel like I cant win this cycle?!?!
