40 weeks today - appointment update

OMG the 23rd!!!!!!!!!!!!1Whatt he heck! Erin go do some jumping jax! I would urge your Doc to induce you sooner.. that is like 10 days over your due date!

Yeah I agree usually the only do like 8 days over your due date if that.

I hope she comes here VERY soon! I hate that she is taking her time in there, but she must be VERY comfy thats for sure :)

OMG Erin! If she waits until the 23rd....I will have my little guy before you have her! That is just not fair. I think that she is going to be here Wed. the 16th. That is a great day! It's my Birthday! :) I bet with her sweeping your membranes again, it will definetly help and she will be here soon! The good news is that she is a little stubborn, oh that is the bad news too :) I am thinking of you sweetie and hoping to see her pictures on here VERY SOON!!!

I know. I was shocked when she said the 23rd. She said that they dont induce until you are at least a week over unless there is a medical reason. I so hope I dont have to wait that long. Last night I layed in bed crying for hours just because I am so tired of being pregnant....Its hard to keep a happy face on these days. I want my baby!

I hope the membrane sweep works this time.

I know Erin. I am having kinda of an emotional time too! It must be our hormones out of wack! Don't fret. She will be here soon! Sending you big hugs sweetie!

Thanks Fran. Today has been a tough day for sure. It's like for the past 10 months I have been looking forward to today - and now its here and nothing. Even the cramping pretty much stopped. I feel like I am going to be pregnant forever! It sucks.

And on top of all that, my landlord told us a few weeks ago that he is selling our condo. So, we have to move. The timing couldnt be worse. We just did the baby's room over, just to be told afterward that we need to move. I'm so mad at the landlord - I mean, we just signed a new lease in May! Aghhh! So, now I have to try to find a new place to live in the midst of waiting for baby. It sucks. ANyway, that was completely off topic but I needed to vent a little. Thanks for listening :)

Sorry you have to go thru this Erin, but the only comfort I can personally give..is be happy that she didnt come to early. My guy came at wk 35 by surprise and we spent 11 days in nicu. Hope to God it doesnt happen again with this baby. I can't imagine how you are feeling..but am so happy for you that when she makes her entrance, she is healthy and stable!

Hope that you find a place soon sweetie. The housing market is great in your case for people who were renting. You can get a GREAT deal on a place, and its a great investment for yall because in a few years its going to go back up and you will instantly make money off your investment, well of course wont be cash in your pocket unless you sell but you know what I mean.

Atleast looking for a place will help you keep your mind off sweetheart taking her time:)

Oh Erin, wth???? I can imgaine your frustration. I'm frustrated for you! I cannot imagine having to wait a whole week for the induction. I really hope this second membrane sweep will do the trick and your little one will soon be here :) Someone needs to tell her that the party's over...LOL and she needs to come out! Hang in there kidddo :)

erin sweetie i can understand totally.why they induce when we want.this is frustating.just pray to god from deep inside it will happen tomo or day after tomo.

Thanks everyone. She still isnt here. Although, I think I felt my first real contraction last night... up until then they were not painful but last night, I had one that hurt. It was only one, but its a start. lol.

Yeah for a painful Contraction!!!!! Come on more so we can get you to that hospital and have your baby girl!!!

You poor thing! My doc also made me go a week and a half over my due date before she would agree to induce me. It was dreadful!!!! She told me to keep walking and to dtd to try induce on my own, but I was so uncomfortable, had horrible headaches and terrible back aches... doing all of that was nearly impossible for me! But if your feeling up to it and aren't too miserable I would suggest lots of sex because she said the semen can actually help to thin your cervix. And just keep busy to make time go a little faster and to hopefully help that little princess make her appearance sooner!!! Hang in there!!!!! :)
