3rd round of IUI

Hi Dr. Q,
Well today is the first day I could test after IUI and it was a BFN. The medication I am taking is 50mg of clomid CD 3-7 5mg of dexamethasone CD 3-12 and a shot of hcg on or around CD 12 depending on the size of the folicle. I have read that clomid can thicken the cervical mucous, should I ask my doctor about that when I go for my CD 3 ultrasound or does the IUI trump the need for cervical mucous to be that thinner consistency?

The IUI trumps this as the catheter is passed through the cervix and sperm placed inside the uterus, if gettin ultrasounds, ask your doc what your uterine lining is at time of hCG shot...We hope that this upcoming month you'll get a BFP!!!! Keep us posted and..
