3rd round of clomid and now no period?

i have been on clomid as me and my partner have been trying for a long time to have a baby, i have alot of fertility problems but the clomid made my period come regular and now its late? i took a test but it was neg? now i don't know what to do? i don't know if maybe the clomid has stopped working?

what could be causing this? i have to call the hospital next week if my period is still not started but i am sooo confused?

any ideas?

What exactly is clomid and what is it taken for?

Hi Molly,

Sometimes Clomid can make a cyst and keep the following cycle from coming on time..

follow-up with your doc to see if this is the case, or if a higher dose is needed as Clomid is given to help one ovulate

clomid is an infertility drug which is used to encourage ovulation in women who do not ovulate, i have PCOS so do not ovulate myself and need help have been given 6months of clomid as they were hoping i would become pregnant on it but now has stopped working
