33 week Ultrasound

I went yesterday for an u/s. I was supposed to have it done last week at my 32 week appointment, but the machine was down. So I go in yesterday and the dr starts and I'm watching the screen to see everything. As he starts the first thing that he says is that she in head down already. Then he starts to take measurements and she is measuring 2 weeks ahead (meaning that I'm 33 weeks and she is measuring at 35 weeks). So he said that he wanted to check her weight out and said that she is somewhere between 4 and 6 pounds right now. He explained that the u/s is not accurate with the weight so it is just an estimate. Hubby asked if he thought that I would go earlier than my due date and the dr said most likely. He said that normally he wouldn't do a pelvis exam until the weekly appointments, but he wants to do one next Thursday to see if my cervix has opened at all yet.
I'm so overwhelmed right now. It's like omg she could be here real soon!!!! I'm excited, but starting to get a little nervous too. I just want to make sure that everything is done and perfect before she gets here....lol

Tell me about it Fran. We went out last night and got the crib, Randy plans on putting it together tonight. I have 2 more days of work and then I'm on maternity leave so I will be getting stuff done myself. There really isn't too much more to do so that make me feel better about things. I told him that I will pack the bag for the hospital soon too this way we don't have to worry about it.

Thats great news hun! Im sure all is just fine and she will be here a couple weeks early! They had to do an early internal check on me @ my 34week because Noah dropped @ 33weeks 3days. he has been head down since like 28weeks, but he had just all of a sudden dropped @ 33weeks 3days, and sure enough from him dropping it put me @ 1CM, starting to thin, and him @ station -2, but he has been like that for over 5weeks now. Im hoping tomorrow to hear some change, but if not then I gotta keep on trucking it, and might do induction on Monday @ 39weeks 2days :)

Good luck tomorrow at your appointment. I really hope that you have progressed some. I can't wait until next Thursday to see where I am at. I'm excited that she will most likely be here early and of course that would make this her 1st Christmas. Which, I couldn't help myself, I was shoppinf on Monday with Randy and I saw the cutest little Christmas dress and I bought it for her...lol

Thanks Jolene. I know what you mean. I have bought so many outfits for Angelina like sweatsuits and sweaters, but the Christmas dress I just could pass it up. Its def so hard to pass up! Such cute cute cute stuff! I love it!! Cant wait to dress them in the stuff!!
All I heard today was still same, 1CM, thinning, station -2, BUT I did lose 1/2 a pound and they said thats good that im starting to lose weight, because that usually means baby is coming VERY soon, and I thought to myself...ummm yeah my due date is next week...haha! But its good :)

I'm doing well, just very tired and feeling lots of pressure on my pelvic bone. I'm really hoping that she comes early like the dr says, this way I have more time home with her before I have to go back to work.
I can't wait to start dressing her up in all of these cute little outfits that I have for her, it's just so exciting!!!
I think that you are going in the next couple of days. He's ready to come out...lol

Yep thats the exact same pain im going through, and Oliver went through, and Lori is going through, its horrible, I hate it! Mine has let up some thankfully, but it lasted for weeks straight, I just wanted to cry!
now I just want to cry because im sooo ready, im not sure how much longer im going to last. We are doing everything we can to get him to come, but nothing seems to give. I think induction will be this week. I have my 40week on Friday, but im going to move it to Wednesday or Thursday, and see what we can get rolling this week. I really dont want to be there on Thanksgiving, especially since we have stuff planned here for Thanksgiving! They start inductions after completeing 39weeks, which was yesterday, and since I have been 1CM, Thinning, and Station -2 for over 5 weeks, im praying they will RX me some meds to help me get things moving a little further, and go into labor this week :)

Well I hope that they do something for you. I know that you are excited for him to be here already. Not only that but after all of the discomfort that you have had over the last few weeks, it's time...lol...Good luck and I will keep my fingers crossed for you that either you go into labor on your own or they give you the meds to induce it. thanks hun! Yeah im very ready, loved being pregnant and will so totally do it again, but im so ready to see him, and be comfortable again, minus im sure getting adjusted to breastfeeding will hurt, but im ready for a new kind of pain...haha!

Haha Sarah dont you worry I will cause I dont care either...haha! I wish it will be at 3AM tonight, or tomorrow morning...haha. I would be THRILLED!!! Im very ready, but apparently Noah is thinking its not time. So im loading my Chicken, Sausage mixed in with Yellow rice (OMG its soo good and sooo easy we have done it for years), and loading that with some Texas Pete, and hoping something happens, but I tell you what I have been eating spicy foods whole pregnancy, and especially at the end now, but nothing, its probably because mommy REALLY loves spicy foods. We had sex last night, so its off tonight, but on tomorrow night, hopefully it will happen early this week :)
Watch it will happen the day we have to pick up our new recliners...haha, we are taking back these ones we just got and bought 2 new ones today, and of course earliest pick up is Wednesday. I wanted to move my appointment to Wednesday but I will move it to Thursday if they let me. If not im going Wednesday without hubby...haha, not a big deal :)

That would be funny if you went into labor on Wednesday now that you have to get the recliners...lol....
I actually have so hot sauce that would probably make you go into labor. Funny enough I got it a couple of years ago when I was in South Carolina. You only need a drop of this stuff and it will make you cry...lol

Haha for some reason hot and spicy stuff isnt gonna do it for me.... I wish it would though! Its just I have eaten spicy food all pregnancy and pre pregnancy, so my body is used to hot and spicy stuff. I read the point of spicy food is it makes you have to go to the bathroom (#2), and well not the case for me...haha.
I guess Noah will be stubburn, oh well, im calling tomorrow and moving up my appointment, and asking if there is anything they can do for me now, which the one nurse did tell me about the meds to help dialate more, so we will see. Im just ready thats for sure :)
