You are 32 weeks preggo and Just now going to the Dr??? If you don't mind me asking Why??

this is the 1st time you are gonna be seen by a doc in your entire pregnancy?

ive been to my family doctor..evey month since i first found out i was prego, but this is my first time actuley going to meet the doc whos gonna deliver the baby..

Good luck to ya - i dont know what they will go over cuz i saw my OB the entire time but i will assume she will ask about any meds that you do or do not wish to take during labor and if you want the baby circumsized if its a boy, maybe who you want in the room and what you are looking to get out of your labor - like a water birth or squating birth, regular stirrup birth, etc.

Since you've had Pre-natal care, it'll be a new consult but more like a routine visit since your records should be at hand...

I'm sure will just check your progress and make sure you are measuring on time. Have you had an u/s yet? They may do that or schedule one. Also have they used a doppler to hear the heartbeat? If not they will do that too! Have fun and enjoy meeting the person who will bring your little one into the world! :)

and yes fran i have had an u/s but imma request another one just to see if i get another due date...lol...ive had 4 so i guess it will b a suprize..and ive heard the babys heart beat so many times...its great...the heart beat raneges from 136-161...so i wounder is it a boy or girl...lol...

im sure you will hear the baby's heartbeat on the doppler, maybe have blood work done, and get to know the doctor that will deliver you. they measure your stomach to see your progress and take your weight, routine stuff like that. bring a list of questions you have for him / her. im sure you will be fine!

Wow Altha! It looks like u just posted abt u being 6 or 12 weeks preggo and here u are @ 32 weeks. Im glad everythings gone by well this far! Good Luck n keep us posted.

yeah i know hope, seems like time is flyin by, now if it will only fly by for me to hold the baby it would be great, but i needs to get going...on my way to see him now...ill let u gals know more about my doc app and how it went when i get back...

well i just got back from my doc app a lil while ago, it did not go so good, he was very mean and not very friendly, and he never asked me any question just gave me my 5 & 6th due dates...like how many can one person have...

He gave me a Pap, and just about killed me ( i know there not easy but still....) he mesured my belly and took the babys heart beat and walked out...i dont know what kind of doctor you would call him but i was not ver inpressed...then his nurse told me he is leavin next month and i would have to get another baby doc...so i have to go though all this agian..yeppie...so much funy( not really) i'm just so shocked that a doctor would be like this to his paient and her unborn child... and i pray to go that no other woman has to have the experience i had to have this morning...he really made me think if i ever wanted another child later on down the road..if i have to have a doc like him...i guess my baby will b growing up a singel child...but i have to see my family doc on the 20th so imma get him to refer me to another baby doctor in a diffrent hostipal...i just hope this one goes better and i dont get more due dates...lol...(only if they passed out money like they have been passin me out due dates!!)

Hello Babe, My gosh What a jerk! I would report him. That way he would have less of a chance to be like that to someone else. I'm Sorry your appt did not go so well. All that matters is that the baby is healthy and it will actually come when it is ready. LOL Keep pushing through it will be over before you know it! Take care!

Oh sorry your appointment was miserable! That stinks. This is such a joyous occasion for you and now it was ruined. I hope you do find another doc who actually talks and cares about you and the baby. take care!

well the doc imma try now is one that my close friend whent to...to have her lil girl a yr ago this spet, and hes spose to be the best arround and ive heard so many good stories about him, so i look foward to meetin him, hopefuly this time i dont get disapointed...
