32 dpo and still no bfp!

July 29, 2008

I regularly have long irregular cycles anywhere from 6 weeks to 3+months. I started charting on fertility friend in June and according to their website, I ovulated on June 27. I had a temp rise at this point that has stayed up. I am now at 32 dpo, and still no bfp. I took a first response early response on 14 dpo, 23 dpo, and 30 dpo. I was spotting for about 4 hours yesterday very light pink (which is unusual for me) and it stopped and has not started back. I have had a variety of possible pregnancy symptoms, but still no bfp. These have been my symptoms:

tender breasts

nausea (in the first 2-3 weeks after ovulation)

increased appetite (in the last week)

a 5lb weight gain

increased cm

increased saliva

weird dreams

backache

and the list goes on...

Should I go to the Dr. for a blood test? Or should I continue to wait for Af?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

At 32 dpo I think you should contact your doctor and see what he says. If you are usually regular, then something is going on! If you are pregnant, it should be showing up on a pregnancy test, but maybe you have a cyst??

Did you use opk's or just temp?

Sorry, I just saw that you said you are not regular. Did you use opk's? Sometimes temping can be a little misleading! I couldn't look at your chart- the link above was not working

I would get a blood test. FF isn't sure that you ovulated, thats why there are dotted lines instead of a solid line. Its saying that based on the info given thats when it "thinks" you O'd. I would see what you doc says. I hope you are preggo! = )

I just got in to your chart...i'm not sure it shows a clear ovulation???

I did not use opk's because my husband and I were not planning to ttc until Nov. however, I will be very happy if I do get a bfp!!! (we were using the bbt chart to learn when to abstain because we are trying to use the nfp mehtod.)

You may want to start using OPKs to see if you ovulate. Long irregular cycles often mean that you may not ovulate. If that is the case, talk to your doctor about your cycles and he may test your hormones, etc. There are many things doctors can do to help you out if you don't ovulate!
